Palm Pre Base

According to Palm CEO Ed Colligan, Palm Pre will go on sale in Europe at the same time as in the U.S.
Since Palm Pre will be exclusive on Sprint and the displayed model was in fact CMDA/EV-DO there were quite a few question about the European launch. A GSM/UMTS version of Palm Pre is being developed at the same time as the CMDA version so there is no reason to worry for all the european Palm fans.

We can speculate on the specs, it will most likely support HSDPA @ 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA at 2Mbps, but no details about the actual specs or the price have been released.
