GSM version of Palm Pre captured on video
GSM version of Palm Pre has been caught on tape in Vietnam, or so the “sources” say. There will be a short video after the break so keep reading. This probably means that the GSM version of Palm Pre after it has been spoted several times, first in Barcelona in February, then earlier today in London is getting nearer and nearer to its launch. The video below shows few Vietnamese gadget lovers fiddling with the GSM version (confirmed) of Palm Pre. Is it really true we dont know but we hope (for Palm`s sake) that they will launch it really really soon. Palm Pre has a great chance to become a hit in markets that are huge and liberal like India, Arab countries,Japan and the old continent naturally. That markets are almost exclusivelly GSM/UMTS based. I’ve had my Pre considering that shortly following launch and am glad to discover (via this forum) that I can now set a ring tone on incoming text messages and can research by means of e-mails and this kind of. Now is there any hope for an upcoming launch where I can look for my calendar? Would make my career a great deal less difficult, locating dates of final appointments. No other complaints, except that yesterday I had been in and out of Sprint assistance (not unusual). I believe I was roaming, and looked at my calendar. Everything inside calendar was one particular hour earlier than what I had input. The clock was 1 hour early as well. I was frightened to death–then, the moment we got back into Sprint program again, everything was normalized. Has this happened to any individual else?? Looking forward to answers, but please recall, I’m no techie and speak English instead of technospeak.
